about me
Shipping software since 2024. Now engineering AI products, automations and the agentic full-stack systems around them.
Background & domain depth
I started out as a software engineer and moved toward AI automation and agentic engineering.
Along the way I've worked as a Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer, AI Automation Engineer, AI Solutions Engineer, and AI Product Engineer — across SMEs, service & product companies, and consultancies.
Core philosophy & impact
Understand how a business actually runs, then engineer the layer that makes it run better.
Internal tools, automation pipelines, or AI systems — whichever the problem needs. Usually as the person accountable for the whole thing, end to end.
I've worked directly with product owners, CEOs and COOs, and inside multicultural teams.
Milestones & research
In 2025 I was selected for METI Japan's AI & Tech Talent programme.
Two entrepreneurial swings — Clarimo AI, an AI-powered startup-validation platform that mines real founder pain points instead of guesswork, and SingleCore, an automation services agency co-founded with friends.
Co-authored DeepTrust, a multimodal deepfake detection framework using bidirectional cross-attention for fine-grained audio-visual classification — accepted at the 23rd IBCAST 2026 with 97.5% validation accuracy — now becoming a product, SyncLens.
How we can work together
That's the work I do best. Currently open to full-time, part-time, contract and freelance — remote, or onsite if that suits you better.

Timeline intentionally extended by one semester after freezing Semester 7 to accept an onsite placement in Tokyo through the METI Japan AI & Tech Talent Programme.
Things people usually ask
Both, but most of my strongest work has been solo ownership. At Nettlio I was the only engineer on the platform for seven months, syncing weekly with the CEO and making the architecture calls myself. I've also worked inside teams — a solutions engineering team at APIMatic, an onsite team in Tokyo. If you need someone to own a thing end to end without supervision, that's the mode I'm best in.
I'm in Islamabad, GMT+5. That's a comfortable full-day overlap with the UK and Europe, and about four to five hours of overlap with US Eastern in my evenings. I've worked with clients in Norway, the UK and the US on exactly this rhythm, and onsite in Japan. Time zones haven't been the constraint — I'll shift my hours where it matters.
I graduate in January 2027. It hasn't limited anything so far — I've been working professionally alongside study since 2024, including a seven-month engagement and a 46-day onsite placement in Tokyo, which I extended my degree by one semester to take. I'm upfront about it because you'd find out anyway, and it's never been the thing that slipped.
Usually it starts with a call about the process you're trying to fix, not the tech. From there I'll scope it into something concrete — a pipeline, an internal tool, an MVP — with a defined outcome rather than an open-ended retainer. Most of my engagements have run from a few weeks to several months.
No — and I'd ask the same thing. My case studies name the systems and the users on them because they're still running. Heritage AI is in daily use by 100+ people; PrediabetesBasket is live with paying subscribers. Shipping is the part I care about most, and it's the part most AI work never reaches.
Yes. Not everything needs to be a platform. A single n8n pipeline that removes four hours of manual work a week is a good project.
Yes. I've done it — 46 days onsite in Tokyo through Japan's METI programme. I'm open to relocation or hybrid arrangements, and to remote-first roles with occasional travel.
